2 - 3 Person Kayak
Our 2 or 3-person kayaks are perfect for couples or couples with a young child. With their great stability and maneuverability, they are ideal for day trips. Whether you are a beginner or an experienced paddler, these kayaks provide a pleasant and safe paddling experience.
Family Kayak
For a family outing, our Quattro kayak is ideal. Designed to accommodate up to four people (2 adults and 2 young children), it offers optimal stability and enhanced safety. Perfect for a leisurely paddle, it’s ideal for exploring calm waters with your kids.
Equipment Provided
At Méli Mélo, we provide all the necessary gear for a successful kayaking outing. You’ll be equipped with a life jacket (mandatory), a paddle suited to your size, a waterproof bag (maximum 1 per kayak), and a map based on your route.
You can also rent a wetsuit or a shorty, which is the ideal attire for kayaking.
Each piece of equipment is selected to ensure your comfort and safety on the water.

for Canoe & Kayak Rentals at Méli Mélo
To rent a canoe or kayak at Méli Mélo, we accept payments in cash, by check, and by credit card. We ask that you make a reservation by phone, especially during peak season. Feel free to contact us with any questions.
Rental is self-guided; we will provide you with information about the weather, tides, and suggest a suitable route before your departure.
How your rental works
- Welcome upon arrival following your phone reservation — please arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled time, which is the departure time.
- Contract issuance
- Payment
- Equipment handover
- Briefing with a map to explain the loop starting from the Aber Wrac’h harbor, returning to the same location.
Recommended equipment:
Closed shoes, waterproof pouch for your phone, change of clothes (prefer synthetic fabrics over cotton), cap, sunglasses, water bottle, cereal bar or picnic, sunscreen.
Trip in the Aber:
If you want to go down and back up the Aber Wrac’h, we will give you the appropriate advice.
Other information:
- If you plan to visit the Île Vierge lighthouse, please check the website Buy your tickets – Pays des Abers Tourist Office, as booking for the whole day is required.
- To find us: we are immediately on the right at the entrance to the Aber Wrac’h when arriving from Lannilis.
- Free parking is available right next to Méli Mélo.
- Feel free to come already equipped if you have your own wetsuit; there is one toilet that serves as a “changing room”.
- Please store your personal belongings in your vehicle — we can hold on to your car keys for you.
